For as long as I can remember I was involved in some form of art. I painted furniture with designs for children's rooms, murals in private homes, doctor's offices and even custom clothing. Then while raising three children I wanted to be able to work from home. I did some research and began creating fine silver (FS 999) and sterling (SS 925) jewelry, eventually being carried by an art gallery for a year. (Some of my work can be found in my other Etsy shop, DelMundoDesignStudio) I found that silver prices were constantly on the rise and wanted to continue to create, but with a more reasonable price point for my clients, while still being able to do custom commissions, and be creative and fun with the end result. Thus began my self taught journey with ceramics.

I love having the freedom to explore different ideas, and make pieces that bring joy into your life. Adding 22k gold accents brings that 'bling' that allows your wearable art to be worn with casual clothes or dress clothes, a dish the extra sparkle in your home or the perfect gift for a friend.

When I am not in my basement studio creating, I love to visit my new granddaughter, or you can find me in my vintage 1965 Shasta Airflyte trailer named Suzy Q, dreaming of the sun and beach because I am a secret mermaid.
